Are you here in Canada on this program for a year and soon have to return home to your country because you cannot extend your stay? Well you could extend your stay as a visitor but than you cannot continue to work.
So you want to continue to work? How is that possible?
1. If by chance you are getting Married to a Permanent Resident or a Canadian citizen, you may be able to apply for a work permit and continue to work under implied status. While your work permit is being approved by immigration Canada refugee citizenship (IRCC).
2. You apply for a new work permit under a job which includes a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), available from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), which allows you to continue to work under implied status while your application is being processed.
